Lincoln School Apartments Building

Lincoln School Apartments (Norbert Schmidt Villa)

One facility we are very proud of is the Lincoln School Apartments located at 477 1st Avenue North. This historical school building was renovated into one, two, and three bedroom apartments. Handicap units are also available. The beautiful marble staircases feature the original posts, beams and railings. Many of the original classroom doors were salvaged and left in place as entry doors into the apartments. Large muli-pane windows offer natural light into each apartment. Several common areas are located throughout the building for residents to socialize; one of which is a large community room that includes a kitchen. Featuring: In unit washer and dryers, air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and additional storage. Library, fitness, game rooms, onsite playground and gazebo are also available to residents. The gymnasium was also converted into an indoor, secured parking garage. Eldon Marple Manor

Eldon Marple Manor

Eldon Marple Manor, designated for persons living with a physical disability, is located on the south side of town and consists of 10 one- and two-bedroom apartments including kitchen, living room/dining room combination, and bathroom (three with roll-in showers). This building also includes a “group rate” cable service (lower pricing), a community room with kitchen facilities, a laundry room, off-street parking, and a service coordinator available for tenants.

A service coordinator is a social service staff person hired or contracted by the development’s owner or management company. The coordinator is responsible for assuring that elderly residents, especially those who are frail or at risk, and those non-elderly residents with disabilities are linked to the specific supportive services they need to continue living independently.

Impact Housing Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of Impact Seven, Inc., pays for water, sewer, and trash removal. Income eligible tenants pay electricity (electric baseboard heat) and rent is based on 30% of their adjusted income. Click here for more information
