The City of Park Falls services and maintains several buildings and their respective grounds that are financed by public funds and constructed for the benefit or use of the community.  Major services of the Public Works Department include space planning, energy management, preventive maintenance, mechanical/electrical repair and emergency service, construction, housekeeping, contracted services, grounds and lot maintenance, vehicle maintenance, signage, and building security.  In addition to these services, the Public Works Department provides consultation to other department heads, program directors and also manage major construction & renovation contracts with architects and contractors. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.  We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. We want our valued customers to be informed about their water utility.  If you want to learn more, please attend any of our regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Public Works.  The Board of Public Works meets at 4:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.  The meetings are held at the Park Falls City Hall located at 400 4th Avenue South.  The bottom line is this:  Our water is safe to drink.  We have NO water quality violations and our water quality meets, or is better than, state and federal standards.
