August 13 election

Most of you are aware that City Hall has recently moved to 410 Division Street. Election day is Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 7 AM until 8 PM. The voting place is located on the third floor of the library building. We have registered the new voting place with the State Elections Commissions as required but Google may not be showing the correct place. Please be aware.
The handicap and elevator entrance is located on the north side the library building from the parking lot (known as 121 N 4th Ave). There is street parking on the south side of the building with a couple flights of stairs to negotiate. It is recommended that you park on the north side of the building and use that entrance for ease of getting to the third floor. There will be signs indicating the handicap entrance that you should be able to see on Hwy 13.
Please remember to bring your photo ID with you when you come to vote. It is mandatory to show your ID before voting. If you are not registered yet, you can register on that day but you will need to show proof of residence for at least 28 prior to election day and a photo ID to get registered.
